After a detour through medical studies, Jean Dalin confirmed his passion for illustration, a choice which led him to follow a prep course, obtain a diploma in narrative drawing, take engraving courses and pursue a course in visual arts. He then became the founder of the association Un Fanzine par Mois, which publishes and distributes books from micro-publishing.
Modern, unusual and contemporary style, his designs are rich in details with dense compositions. His mastery of architecture immerses us in graphic landscapes, play of plans and spaces alternating between intimacy and grandiloquence, where he mixes references to classical and ancient civilizations with contemporary elements.
Today, Jean Dalin's artistic universe has already conquered Paris2024, the organizer of the Paris Olympics, as well as the magazine Métal Hurlant, for which he created a 2-meter drawing. He is also working on a comic strip in collaboration with Sarbacanes editions.

KIBLIND is a quarterly magazine dedicated to visual culture and contemporary illustration created in 2004 in Lyon.
Since 2017, KIBLIND Store has extended the artistic project of the magazine through the edition and production of posters, books and illustrated objects, relying on a selection of talented artists from the four corners of the world and using printed know-how, notably risography.
Risography is a cold printing technique close to screen printing, which is particularly eco-responsible. It is based on a layer by layer treatment of colors and the use of spot colors, more intense, more vibrant inks, made from vegetable oil and without solvents.
