Funny and endearing, Yeye Weller's characters charm us with their knowing wink and thumbs-up. But be careful, behind their kindness hides an artist with a sharp eye and an acerbic pen. Inspired by the typography masters of the 60s and 70s, Yeye Weller integrates powerful messages into her illustrations, creating a true graphic expertise that guides the viewer's gaze. Drawing becomes a powerful weapon, capable of questioning society with humor and mischief. London understood this well in 2022, by entrusting its walls to Yeye Weller for an artistic intervention inviting us to stop dirtying the city. A snub to self-righteousness, a smirk and a clear message: the world is far from perfect, but it is never too late to make it better.

KIBLIND is a quarterly magazine dedicated to visual culture and contemporary illustration created in 2004 in Lyon.

Since 2017, KIBLIND Store has extended the artistic project of the magazine through the edition and production of posters, books and illustrated objects, relying on a selection of talented artists from the four corners of the world and using printed know-how, notably risography.

Risography is a cold printing technique close to screen printing, which is particularly eco-responsible. It is based on a layer by layer treatment of colors and the use of spot colors, more intense, more vibrant inks, made from vegetable oil and without solvents.
